Most residential rooftop installs are completed in one to two days on-site; the full timeline including design, permits, and NV Energy interconnection is typically a few weeks.
Tile, shingle, foam, and flat roofs are all common in the valley and we install on all of them, with mounting matched to your roof type.
Tier-1 panels typically carry 25-year performance warranties; we add a workmanship warranty on the installation.
Yes — city permitting and NV Energy interconnection are part of the job, handled for you.
A little, yes. Panel efficiency drops as cell temperature rises, so on a July afternoon a panel produces somewhat less than its rating. Long, clear days still make the desert a strong place for solar. We choose modules with good heat tolerance and leave airflow under the array; the specs we compare are on the panels and equipment page.
No. Solar works without one. A battery stores daytime production for evening use and can keep selected circuits running during an outage. Whether it makes sense depends on your NV Energy rate plan, your evening usage and how much backup power matters to you, so we can show you a design with and without storage side by side.
It’s usually better to handle the roof first. Removing and reinstalling panels later adds cost and time without solar producing in the meantime. During the free assessment we look at roof age and condition and tell you plainly if re-roofing should come before the install, especially on older homes with worn underlayment beneath the tile.
Nevada law generally prevents homeowner associations from banning rooftop solar, though most can still review placement and appearance. In master-planned areas such as Summerlin and much of Henderson, we prepare the layout drawings and equipment details for the architectural submittal and build the review period into your schedule.
